To access the collection of electronic reference books in the Gale Virtual Reference Library, your browser must allow session cookies. If your browser isn't set to allow session cookies, you'll see this error message when you try to access a GVRL e-book: "You have logged out and your session has ended. Where can we take you?"

How can I change the settings in Internet Explorer to allow session cookies?

1. Pull down the Tools menu.
2. Select Internet Options.
3. Select the Privacy tab.
4. On the Privacy tab, select the Advanced button.
5. Make sure "Override automatic cookie handling" and "Always allow session cookies" are both checked (turned on).
