Photocopiers are located in the copy alcove at the north end of the library, in the Circulating Books area, and in the Lower Level.
Copies cost 10 cents per page. The machines will (normally) take $1 and older $5 bills as well as change. They will not take the new design $5 bills. Change can be obtained from Dining Services across the hall or from the Bookstore on the second floor of CDC.
Copies can be made in letter size (8 1/2 x 11 inches) only.
The machines will enlarge or reduce from 64% to 141%.
Although these machines are kept in generally good working order, if you need very clean copies (such as for resumes) we suggest you use a commercial service.

Printing and Printers

All public computers in the library print to the same printer, located on the main level near the Reference Desk (St. Paul) and by the Circulation Desk (Minneapolis). There is no charge for printing.

Problems such as no paper, poor print quality, paper jams, etc. should be reported to the Circulation Desk.

**Even though printing is free, think about being green and print only what you NEED. Please also be considerate of others and don't print large documents all at once. Break them up and print a few pages (10-15) at a time.

Microforms

St. Paul Campus Library

The St. Catherine Library obtains selected items on microfilm and microfiche. Journals on microfiche or microfilm are shelved with the rest of the periodical and current periodicals collections. The ERIC Documents collection on microfiche is housed in cabinets near the microform readers.

Prints can be made from both microfiche and microfilm at no charge. The reader/printers are located in the Lower Level.

Minneapolis Campus Library

The St. Paul campus Library has microfiche of ERIC documents beginning with accession number 297-086, as well as back issues of selected journals.

Microfiche documents from the St. Paul campus Library can be sent to the Minneapolis campus Library and viewed using the microfiche reader located in the Library. Documents must be requested through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

If, after viewing the microfiche document, a print copy is desired, a photocopy of up to 30 pages may be made without charge. For each additional page beyond the 30 page limit, there will be a charge of 10 cents per page. Contact the ILL service for copies.
